DESCRIPTION:Come on down to the Club to enjoy a fun day of casual racin

 h other Club members. Several club members have even signed on to provi
 de live music.  This event will serve as a fundraiser with all pro
 ceeds going towards long-term expenditures, like a new rescue boat. By 
 signing up to race (or making a donation), you can help ensure QYC's lo
 ng-term success.Tentative schedule is as follows:2pm: Race registr
 ation and boat rigging3pm: Opti races begin4:15pm: Open races
  begin6pm: BBQ and Potluck Dinner7pm: Live MusicMultiple club
  boats will be available for racing. In order to guarantee your choice 
 of boat, please purchase a ticket ahead of time.  Registration wil
 l also be available on the day of the race.FUN TWIST: You can reserve a
  boat for a friend (as in, you pay $15 for a fellow member to be s
 queezed into an Opti!). If they want to sailing something else, they ha
 ve to pay the difference to get a faster/more comfortable boat!In order
  to maximize the power of your donations, this is a BYOB-style event.&n
 bsp; You are welcome to bring a picnic dinner to the Club to enjoy afte
 r the racing.  The grills will be fired up, and QYC has plenty of 
 paper goods stocked in the kitchen.   Live music is being pro
 vided by Club members!
