Private Lessons - Summer 2024

Quannapowitt Yacht Club offers private sailing lessons during the summer.  Each session lasts for two hours.  We recommend five (5) two-hour lessons for beginners.  For folks that have some sailing experience, lessons are a great way to get re-acquainted with some of the finer points.  We can tailor the content as needed, but the goal is to enable folks to feel comfortable with the following:

• Picking up a boat at a mooring
• Rigging sails
• Sailing a prescribed course
• Docking the boat
• De-rigging the boat
• Returning the boat to the mooring
• Safety and rules

2024 Private Sailing Lesson Prices:

Member rates:

Adult (18 and over): Single: $100, Pair; $110

Child: Single: $80; Pair: $90

Non-member rates:

Adult (18 and over): Single: $130; Pair: $150

Child: Single: $100; Pair: $120
