Summer 2024 Private Lessons Now Available!
Quannapowitt Yacht Club offers private sailing lessons during the summer. Each session lasts for two hours. We recommend five (5) two-hour lessons for beginners. For folks that have some sailing experience, lessons are a great way to get re-acquainted with some of the finer points. Day Sailer Tri-Regional Championship Regatta Coming June 22
Whether you're coming to race, or just to enjoy the competition, this should be a fantastic day at QYC! Eligibility: Competitors are encouraged to be members of the DaySailer Association; registration forms will be available at the regatta, and are available at www.daysailer.org. Quannapowitt Yacht Club offers a 5-week sailing program designed to give students the basics of sailing in a fun, supportive and safe environment. The program is limited to 14 students, to ensure each student receives plenty of one-on-one guidance on the water. Meet 2023 Sailing Director - Lynn Benali
QYC is delighted to introduce our Sailing Program Director for the 2023 season! Lynn is a passionate sailor who has been sailing for over 12 years. Beginning her sailing career in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Lynn eventually ventured to Marblehead, MA; Oyster Bay, NY; and Les Glénans, France, learning to sail in a variety of different sailing vessels like 420s, Optis, Lasers, Hobie Cat 16s, Swedish Match 40s, Farr 40s, Class 40s, and C30s.
