Sisters Under Sail Welcoming New Members

After several weeks of meetings, Sisters Under Sail is pleased to welcome new members Dawn and Sue. Any ladies that are interested in joining our evening meetings on Tuesdays at 6PM are welcome to attend. Our mission is to provide an opportunity to maximize on-water activities for the women at QYC who are interested in sailing, sharing and fun. Our commitment is to offer educational opportunities that will build confidence and foster independence while promoting the sport of sailing and related activities. We welcome all women who are interested in getting on the water at QYC. This includes rules for sailing, opportunities for increasing sailing expertise, race committee skills, and racing.

Last week, Sisters Under Sail provided an all-women Race Committee for the final race of the Twilight I series. Thank you to Gayle, Amy, Sue, and Susan for volunteering! Thanks also to Jon Robertson for volunteering for Rescue Boat during our weekly meetings.

Sisters Under Sail has a forum where news and updates will be posted - if meetings are canceled due to poor conditions, it will be updated on the forum.
