Private Lessons - Summer 2026

Quannapowitt Yacht Club offers private sailing lessons during the summer.  Sessions are available from Monday to Friday, and each session lasts for two hours.  We recommend five (5) two-hour lessons for beginners.  For folks that have some sailing experience, lessons are a great way to get re-acquainted with some of the finer points.  We can tailor the content as needed, but the goal is to enable folks to feel comfortable with the following:

• Picking up a boat at a mooring
• Rigging sails
• Sailing a prescribed course
• Docking the boat
• De-rigging the boat
• Returning the boat to the mooring
• Safety and rules

2026 Private Sailing Lesson Prices:

Member rates:

Adult (18 and over): Single: $110, Pair; $120

Child: Single: $90; Pair: $100

Non-member rates:

Adult (18 and over): Single: $140; Pair: $160

Child: Single: $110; Pair: $130
